Daniel G. Worthington, J.D., LL.M. (Tax), Ed.D., has spent more than thirty-five years helping families and family offices bring clarity to complex multigenerational structures.

Dr. Worthington’s career spans legal practice, academic leadership, family office consulting, national writing, and more than two decades of service on the Board of Managers of South Dakota Trust Company.
As Associate Dean at the University of South Dakota School of Law, he was among the drafting team involved in developing South Dakota’s pioneering Trust Protector statute. His work has since continued at the intersection of trust design, fiduciary systems, jurisdictional strategy, Private Trust Companies, and family governance.
