Dr. Daniel G. Worthington

A multidisciplinary perspective

Technical depth guided by practical stewardship.

Dr. Worthington’s career spans legal practice, academic leadership, family office consulting, national writing, and more than two decades of service on the Board of Managers of South Dakota Trust Company.

As Associate Dean at the University of South Dakota School of Law, he was among the drafting team involved in developing South Dakota’s pioneering Trust Protector statute. His work has since continued at the intersection of trust design, fiduciary systems, jurisdictional strategy, Private Trust Companies, and family governance.

He advises families and their professional teams. Covenant Legacy Design Group does not replace a family’s legal, tax, investment, or accounting counsel; it helps the entire structure work together with greater clarity and continuity.
